We offer short-term (11 to 31 day) study tours (with or without credit) as well as private academic tours for universities and colleges. We are able to offer you the international experiences you are looking while keeping the size of your study tour to a maximum of 15 students. Some of our programs are limited to only 5 students, others at 8 students, and still others at 15 to 18 students. Unlike most other study abroad programs, ICEE determines the maximum size of each program based upon what size provides the ideal environment for learning rather than profit (like other programs). Our groups are small enough to feel like you’re exploring a destination independently, but big enough to create good social interactions.
On any of our programs, you’ll experience the very best of the destinations you visit through in-depth exploration of a country or region. Even on the shortest tours we offer, you’ll have the opportunity to settle into a local community, to build lifelong friendships, and to come home with stories that will amaze your family and friends.
It is important to us that you enjoy the places you visit with ICEE in ways that are meaningful to you as an individual, so we offer options and build free time into each of our itineraries. We strongly believe that the best travel takes place when it’s balanced. Time is a precious resource, especially while you are abroad. That’s why all of our tours are built with balance in mind. A little “group time”, a little “you time” – that’s the way it should be. And because our tours average of less than 10 people per trip, there’s more of the places we visit to go round.
What makes any ICEE experience really special are the things you’ll learn as you travel and the changes you’ll see in yourself. Whether you choose to earn college credit or not, you’ll gain valuable skills and knowledge that will help open the door to future opportunities for global exploration, academic pursuits, or career development. Your confidence in your abilities will increase and you will want to push yourself further, to understand more about the world, and to be inspired to assume your role in it.
